AFP-CMO Officers Correspondence Course Graduation Message Rear Admiral Roberto Santos, BGen Rolando Jungco, Maj. Jo-ar Herrera, distinguished guests, fellow classmates good morning.
When i was asked to prepare a short message for today's graduation, i was hesitant because we should have asked our more mature classmates with more inspiring experiences to share. But here I am, so just allow me to thank our mentors and professors who spent so much time and effort to give us a good class and my fellow classmates who made this course very interesting and dynamic.
I was not around during the orientation so i did not get the chance to meet our classmates in person. I asked my officemate Fides for updates and she said OMG Les, they are in all in uniform and they seem like very serious students. Scary.
My first interaction came when i saw the the facebook posts and comments and suddenly i realized how heavy the correspondence course was. Of course the TMAs assigned by Major Aquino and Major Herrera were so challenging. Last few weeks into the course, i felt like giving up because the workload and class deadlines were getting out of hand. I was this close to calling our course director Rose to say i'm dropping out. But nahiya lang ako na i signed up for something at di ko tatapusin. Umamin kayo, ang hirap talaga isabay ang trabaho at aral...
