The AFP Medical Service School exclusively caters to the officers and enlisted personnel of the AFP Technical Service such as doctors, dentists, nurses and other para-medic professionals or practitioners. BGEN AVANCEÑA saw the students' needs to enhance their awareness and hone their skills and knowledge on Civil-Military Operations, so that they can contribute in their own little way, in making a more positive public image for the Armed Forces. The AFPMC is also strengthening its Civil-Military Operations programs, not just among its staff and other personnel but also among its students, like the enlisted personnel who are specializing as medical aidmen so that they can familairize themselves and later become well-versed in promoting the campaign thrust of the AFP which is to win peace and achieve sustainable development through the AFP Internal Peace and Security Plan "Bayanihan".
