Student Officers of the Film Making Seminar and Workshop Go On Location Shooting

Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City – The five groups of student officers who are undergoing the film making seminar and workshop which is sponsored by the Office of the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines are currently on location shooting of their respective film assignments in various areas in Luzon. One group headed MAJ ROCKY ROSARIA (PN(M) as the director of the Filipino Pictures, Inc is in Brgy Nibaliw, San Fabian, Pangasinan for the three-day shooting of their indie film entitled “PANGARAP”. Another group led by LTJG LADY CHATTERLY ALVARO PN , who is also  acting as the director  is filming "BINTANA" at the  LOGCOM Road near 750th CG, Daza Park and the General Headquarters Bike Trail inside camp Aguinaldo. The other  three  groups are busy shooting their assigned film productions.  All films will be ready for post production, screening and critique on the first week of June. Final film products are for ready viewing on their graduation day slated on 09 June 2012. Wherever they go on location, these groups of officers made it a point to coordinate properly with the AFP units and the officials of the local government units in the area. The student officers who will graduate from this training will constitute the AFP’s pilot group that is going to manage the AFP Film Production which will produce military-oriented movies intended to promote the objectives and ideals of the Armed Forces. Instead of hiring civilian film producers to make AFP-related films, these officers can now be mobilized to create or conceptualize ideas and produce films as may be deemed necessary by the military organization.
