Direk Ogie honestly believes that the Armed Forces has the men and women who are capable of producing and directing films that could be at par with the films produced by their civilian counterparts. The seminar and workshop which is sponsored by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines was the brainchild of the Public Affairs Office and was conducted in coordination with the AFP Civil-Military Operations School, CRSAFP. This specialized program was intended to discover AFP personnel who could become budding producers and directors , whose talents and gifts in the filed of arts and cinematography could be fully honed and nurtured for utilization in the various civil-military operations activities of the Armed Forces to complement the accomplishment of its overall mission.
