Professor Renato Cruz de Castro PH D is a senior professor in the International Studies  Department of the De La Salle University, Taft  Avenue, Manila.    He is a  holder of the Charles Lui Chi Keung Professional Chair in China  Studies and a  U S State Department  ASEAN Research Fellow.  In 2009, he was  with the Political Science Department of the Arizona State University.   He earned his doctorate degree   from the Government and International Studies Department  of the University of South Carolina as a Fulbright Scholar in 2011.   He obtained his  Bachelor in  Arts degree  and two (2) Masters degrees from the University of the Philippines . Dr. Raymundo D Rovillos is currently the Dean, College of Social Sciences and a Professor of History and Philosophy at the University of the Philippines-Baguio. He is an expert in Philippine History, Cordillera History; Society and Culture; Ethnicity/Indigenous Peoples’ Studies; Gender Studies; and Social Development. 

As a Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Rovillos lead the formative review of the Master of Arts in Social and Development Studies Program; steered and contributed to the institution of the Bachelor Science in Management Economics and proposed to revise the Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences respectively; and initiated the establishment of the UP Baguio Cordillera and Northern Luzon. Historical archives in 2008 and continues to mobilize resources for its development.

 BGEN FERMIN R DE LEON JR AFP (RET) finished his primary education from St Theresa's College in Baguio City and  his elementary and secondary, from San Beda College in Manila.  He studied here and abroad, where he earned  his Bachelor of Science  from the Philippine Military Academy  in 1977; Master of Arts in Philosophy from St Louis Univeristy, Baguio City; and Master in National Security Admnistration from the National Defense College of the Philippines, including defense-related courses in Germany,  the United States and the United Kingdom.

Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City –

The country's outstanding public officials and employees released a manifesto calling for support from concerned government agencies for the full implementation of the incentives and rewards for honor awardees in accordance with pertinent civil service rules. Fifty-five honor awardees signed the manifesto during the Lingkod Bayani Network (LBNet) Forum and Fellowship held on May 28, 2012 at the Philippine National Police Multi-Purpose Hall in Camp Crame, Quezon City. During the Camp Crame gathering, Civil Service Chairman Francisco T. Duque III urged the country's crème-de-la-crème to mobilize and actively advocate the tenets of good governance and at the same time, emphasized his pledge of all-out support to the undertakings of the LBNet.

Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City-

MAJOR GENERAL GREGORIO E MACAPAGAL AFP , the Deputy Chief of Staff  of the Armed Forces of the Philippines will grace the  graduation ceremony of the Information Support Operation Course as the Guest of Honor and Speaker  on 22 June 2012 at the AFP  Civil-Military  Operations  School, CRSAFP in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.  MGEN MACAPAGAL is the 67th  The Deputy Chief of Staff , AFP and a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1980.

This is the first Information Support Affairs or  ISA  course conducted by the School for four months starting last 22 February 2012 since  renaming Psychological Operations into Information Support Affairs to conform with the true spirit of the new AFP campaign strategy of winning peace and attaining sustainable development  through the AFP Internal Peace and Security Plan or IPSP "BAYANIHAN".

The fifteen military officers and four police officers who composed the first Information Support Operations Course Class 01-12, conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil-Military Operations School, Civil Relations Service inside Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City starting 23 February 2012 held their graduation ceremony on 22 Friday 2012 with MAJ GEN GREGORIO E MACAPAGAL AFP, the Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP as the guest of honor and speaker. The Commandant of the AFP CMO School MAJ OLIVER A BAÑARIA PAF delivered the welcome remarks while MAJ GEN ROLANDO B TENEFRANCIA AFP, the Commander of the Civil Relations Service, AFP introduced the distinguished guest, MAJ GEN MACAPAGAL. The latter profusely thanked the former and humbly acknowledged that it was the very first time in his military career that he was given such extensive and awesome introduction. In his inspirational talk, MAJ GEN MACAPAGAL congratulated the graduates, the Course Director MAJ JO-AR HERRERA PA, the School Commandant MAJ OLIVER A BAÑARIA PAF and MAJ GEN TENEFRANCIA for successfully pursuing the first Information Support Affairs course since it is very timely and relevant to the implementation of the current AFP campaign plan – the IPSP “BAYANIHAN”.

Final Screening of AFP Indie Films to be held at the AFP Theatre

Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City - The final screening of the four independent “ indie” films produced and directed by the student officers from the different AFP Units who participated in the film making seminar and workshop will be held at AFP Theatre located inside Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City on 27 June 2012. According to Director Ogie Sugatan, head of the Pool of Directors and Personal Assistants from the Filipino Productions Incorporated,(FILMPIC ) that conducted the month-long activity among the selected students, he is very proud of the officers who were grouped into four and eventually produced and directed the four films entitled “Drawing”, “Bagong Tsinelas”, “Kinse” and “Kastilyong Buhangin”, respectively.
